Patient Portal

Welcome to the patient portal, a secure way to communicate with your skincare team.

What the patient portal can do

  • Update your Health Information, such as Medications, Allergies, Family History and more!
  • View upcoming and past appointments
  • Request an appointment with our office
  • Message your provider’s medical staff
    • For prescription refill 
    • Questions about your care
    • Any communication needed for your provider and their staff

First Time Using the Patient Portal

  • Your patient portal account must be activated by a staff member with Carolinas Dermatology, if you are unsure of activation please call our office at 803.771.7506
  • You will provide the staff member with your email address and you will receive an email with instructions on how to set your own password, the link will expire in 72 hours. 
    • An email will come from “Patient Portal”
  • Click on the link in the email and you will be directed to the patient portal site
    • Enter your DATE OF BIRTH mm/dd/yy
    • Enter your LAST NAME
    • Click on “Verify Information”
  • You will be prompted to “Change your Password” 
    • A message will state the password has either been reset or has expired and a new password needs to be created (This is normal, please continue with creating a password)
    • Once you have created a password and confirmed the password, hit enter and you will be signed-in to your patient portal account

What is my Username?

  • Your Patient Portal username is the email address you provided to the office

What do I do if my link has expired?

  • Go to the website
  • Click on “Continue as Patient”
  • Click on “Forgot Password”
  • Information needed: Username, Date of Birth and Last Name
  • Click on Request Email 
  • Follow instructions in the email from “Account Team”

How do I sign into my Patient Portal Account

  • Visit
    • Firefox and Google Chrome are the only compatible browsers. Please make sure that you are not using Internet Explorer, the patient portal will not work properly. 
  • Click on “Continue as Patient”
