SURGICAL PROCEDURE
Breast reduction surgery (also referred to as reduction mammaplasty) involves removing fat and glandular tissue to create smaller and firmer breasts. There are different techniques that can be performed, and each case is individually tailored by Dr. Leppard.
RECOVERY
Most patients will experience soreness, swelling and bruising for several days following surgery. Postoperative swelling and pain will diminish over the first few weeks. We recommend patients take two to three weeks off from work to rest and recover.
